近期不建议购买Godaddy主机
Godaddy是世界第一大域名商，同时也是大型主机商，主机性价比比较好，加上在付款上支持支付宝和人民币，因此这些年来在国内有很多用户。
可能正因为如此，以Godaddy为代表的大型美国主机商，也颇受有关方面的关照，其结果是由于线路原因，导致国内访问Godaddy主机上的网站，稳定性受到影响。这种影响估计短期内不会消除，因此近期谨慎购买Godaddy主机，买主机不妨考虑选受到干扰少的品牌。
做外文站、外贸站没有影响，仍然可以选用Godaddy主机。
Hosting24的cpu/mysql连接数/文件数限制
Hosting24和000webhost同属一个老板，000webhost是Hosting24的免费平台。对于Hosting24，我知道cpu是20%，最大文件数多少不是很清楚。刚才和Hosting24的客服聊了下，对方告诉我对文件数没有限制，cpu限制确是20%，mysql连接数是5个。

Hostgator的cpu、数据库连接数和最大文件数限制
写过了Bluehost的cpu限制是多少？，Cloud也来说说另一大主机商Hostgator主机的限制情况。
Hostgator的cpu限制是25%，看下文：
HostGator allows a maximum of 25% CPU usage limit. You may exceed this limit for no longer than 90 seconds.
虚拟主机和分销主机，Hostgator的cpu限制一样都是25%。
Hostgator的Mysql数据库大小没有限制，连接数最大25个。
至于最大文件数，Hostgator规定虚拟主机和分销主机是25万，但10万以上就不再备份了；VPS的最大文件数是100万。
Bluehost/Hostmonster的cpu限制是多少？
Bluehost和很多大型美国主机商一样，提供的是不限空间、不限流量的方案，其性能和口碑是很好的。和其他虚拟主机一样，Bluehost主机也有诸如cpu、最大文件数等限制。
Cloud查过Bluehost、以及和Bluehost同一家的Hostmonster的TOS，其文件数限制都是20万，mysql连接数是20，而cpu限制并没列出。
向Hostmonster咨询，得到如下答复：
We will throttle the hosting account once you reach 7%.
Throttling is a method of easing the load on the CPU, to prevent one account from interfering with another’s performance. If your site is experiencing throttling it simply means that you came close to causing slowness for other accounts on the server.
CPU Throttling will not always cause slowness on an account and occasionally makes a site run faster. It’s also good to note that a few seconds of throttling every hour is not extreme and likely not an indication of a problem.

即Hostmonster的cpu限制是7%。Cloud又Google了一下，发现Bluehost和HM相同，也是7%（Bluehost另有高端的Pro方案，cpu限制是12%）。
Bluehost/Hostmonster的cpu限制看上去不高，实际负载还是很好的。
Godaddy1美元域名优惠码又回来了
Godaddy在10月份放出1美元域名优惠码，该码10月底已失效。最近1美元域名又回来了，11月份Godaddy又放出了新的1美元超低价域名优惠码。注册条件基本照旧。
总数限10000个，额满为止；或者到12月31号止。
只能用来注册新域名，不能用于域名续费、转移。
